Would you like to work for one of the largest oil and gas traders in the world OR do you fancy taking part in a trading Workshop in Paris in December?
At BP, Integrated supply and trading combines all our oil, gas, power, chemical and financial trading activities. The financial markets trading team manages our exposure to global currency and interest rate fluctuations. Here, we aim to build trading and origination capability to maximise the value of BP's physical assets, trade flows and relationships to deliver net income and world-class risk management.
This UK-based (mainly London) development programme includes both analytical and operational roles with the chance of progress into a trading position after two to three years. Your first role will be analytical, your second may be in supply and this could be either in the UK or overseas and your last role will be in operations. If you show early promise then you could be fast-tracked into an operations role after your first year.
You will need to have a strong academic record and a good degree (2.1 or higher or upper quartile performance from a non-UK university). You will need to demonstrate your motivation, innovative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and an ability to work in a team.
We accept applications from any nationality and UCAS points are NOT taken into consideration.
Applications for the Paris workshop close on 7 November although other applications will continue to be accepted until the final graduate closing date of 2 January 2006.
Starting salary: £28,000 plus location allowance (for central London £3,300)
