EDHEC in Tech (ex Business and technologies)

Presentation

Edhec in Tech's Club was founded in 1996, initially called the Business & Technologies Club.
EDHEC in Tech Club was set up to discuss sector specific prospects and challenges, the impact on our daily lives (telecommuting, mobility), on organisations and on the skill sets we acquire during our careers (lifelong education). The Club also has a teaching and learning focus, aimed at helping everyone to meet today’s technological and business challenges.

The club is also an active member of the G9+ group. The G9+ group includes all the IT and telecommunication clubs in the leading French engineering and business schools: AI N7, Arts et Métiers, Centrale, CNISF, EM Lyon, ENST Bretagne, ESCP-EAP, Essec, HEC, Mines, Polytechnique, Ponts, Reims Management School, Sciences Po, Supélec.

Aims

Its aims are to:

  • Facilitate encounters and networking between its members.
  • Share the expertise of the club’s specialists (there are a lot of them), helping all the members to advance in key areas.
  • Facilitate members’ access to the G9+ network and expertise.
  • Make EDHEC an active school in the field of the highly strategic new technologies via its alumni.

Guides

  • Development of networking, business and social encounters via regular meetings/drinks together.
  • Organisation of relatively large conference/debates on topics requested by the majority of members, thus discovering new areas and honing others. We select the topics to work on together, organise the meeting, and ask you for feedback that we then send out to all the active members.
  • Organisation of discussions/round tables on specific subjects to act, benchmark and work in a hands-on way with the club’s specialists. You choose the topics to work on, and we help you to organise the meeting, and ask for feedback that we then send out to all the active members.
  • Joint organisation of key events with the G9+ (fourteen social networks...).
  • Contact with specialist members to resolve your problems (just send us an e-mail).
