Select students of the MSc in Data Analytics & Digital Business programme recently completed a special 9 week boot camp, administered by Le Wagon. The students cultivated their tech development and collaborative working skills to design, prototype, code and deploy their own digital products. Le Wagon is a coding school that offers short, intensive, and rigorous training to equip creative minds with technical know-how.

In the process of building their applications, the EDHEC students learned how to network within the tech industry and to collaborate with development teams. Aurelia, a student in the programme, commenting on her experience in the bootcamp said, “Today, I have all the tools to be able to develop my own project or work hand-in-hand with a technical team and understand their mind-set.”

Learning-by-doing, with the guidance of trusted experts, is proving to be a powerful method of giving high-level training to students. “Our programme gives students a set of skills and a web-development culture aimed at bridging the gap between technical and managerial professions, and providing entrepreneurs with the autonomy to develop their own products”, explains François-Xavier Abraham, Director of Le Wagon, Lille.

Florian Pelgrin, Director of the MSc in Data Analytics & Digital Business, believes “the partnership with Le Wagon strengthens the value-proposition of the programme, offering new, cutting-edge, expertise and positions the MSc in Data Analytics & Digital Business amongst the forerunners in the field.”
