Organised by the EDHEC Healthcare Club

Location: EDHEC Paris – 16/18 rue du Quatre Septembre, 75022 Paris
The Uberisation of healthcare is underway, but what does it mean?
The health sector is one of the last to be affected by the wave of digital services as it is highly regulated. Patient dissatisfaction and the digitalisation of data are at the root of this inexorable shift. Patients are increasingly demanding: they want to save time, receive better services, have more choice and pay a price that they feel corresponds to the service requested.
This sector is now seeing the arrival of a wide range of players that are putting the possibilities of digital technology to their advantage. And what about doctors in all this? They face the risk of being Uberised by the emergence of intermediaries online and by the digitalisation of part of their added value in connected objects and software.
Our panel:
- Vincent Cheney (EDHEC Master 1980) : Accomplished executive with combined experience in Consumer Goods, Specialty Pharmaceutical and OTC in Europe.
- Arnaud Carrette : Cofondateur chez Souffl, a design, engineering and innovation consulting firm.
