Coping with the environmental crisis: fear, powerlessness, anger, hope … how do I use my emotions?
Participatory conference
Becoming aware of the extent of the environmental crisis can be a tough blow. Some call it eco-anxiety, others eco-conscience. The most important thing is that eco-emotions are legitimate; they are a healthy reaction to the considerable challenges we face. Indeed, 8 out of 10 French people say they are worried about climate change (2023 CESE annual report). And what's more, eco-emotions can spur you on to ACT!
Participatory conference in the evening of 23 January, online and in Paris

Adapting to climate change: a journey undertaken by 2 EDHEC alumni
Etienne (EDHEC 2018) and Clara (EDHEC 2019) bought a small sailing boat to head off and meet with scientists, local authorities, associations, businesses and citizens working to adapt our regions.
Their objective was to broadcast a documentary series entitled Nouvelles Cartes showing how the French coastline is being prepared to face the new climatic and environmental reality.
Back from their 3-month trip onboards Vent Debout, they will be coming to the EDHEC Paris campus to talk about their undertaking and what it has taught them.
This project won the EDHEC Alumni Impact for the Planet award.
