Following a bachelor's degree in Shandong's University of Science and Technology and nine years of experience in product development of electronic devices, Jinli Ou-Bely graduated from EDHEC Business School in 2003 in a business management degree. She then founded Senya in 2012 with the support of EDHEC Young Entrepreneur, the EDHEC Business School incubator.
Jinli Ou-Bely believes in a flexible approach to the challenges of entrepreneurship as well as in bringing forward a confident and determined attitude that helps finding the courage to think out-of-the box and help an entrepreneurial vision come to life, therefore representing the key values of the EDHEC spirit.
Senya designs and manufactures small electronic household appliances, which they also import and sell. The company aims to introduce comfort and pleasure into the daily life of the consumer, thanks to a large range of affordable products that are cleverly designed. Their strongest assets are reliability, competitiveness and creativity which they obtain thanks to a set of reliable and qualified partners.
Thanks to their headquarters in France the company is able to follow trends up close and design products that answer directly to the consumer's needs. On the other hand, the company is also based in China, which allows a close follow up of every step of the buying process and guarantees the high quality and the competitiveness of their products. Senya also offers a customized outsourcing service in which they manage both the production and the logistics all the way to the delivery.
In 2014 had Seny made a revenue of 2 million euros.

The award
The Entrepreneur of the Year prize is awarded to an Edhec entrepreneur who has decided to take a leap into the unknown and has contributed to EDHEC’s image as a creator of talent by their taste for risk and adventure. Their daring and sense of innovation will have impacted on the winner’s sector or region, or on the vision others have of the sector.
