The EDHEC Entrepreneur of the Year prize is awarded to an Edhec entrepreneur who has decided to take a leap into the unknown and has contributed to EDHEC’s image as a creator of talent by their taste for risk and adventure.
Their daring and sense of innovation will have impacted on the winner’s sector or region, or on the vision others have of the sector. .

Jinli Ou-Bely, EDHEC Master 2003, Founder and Managing director of Senya International

Following a bachelor's degree in Shandong's University of Science and Technology and nine years of experience in product development of electronic devices, Jinli Ou-Bely graduated from EDHEC Business School in 2003 in a business management degree. She then founded Senya in 2012 with the support of EDHEC Young Entrepreneur, the EDHEC Business School incubator.

Jinli Ou-Bely believes in a flexible approach to the challenges of entrepreneurship as well as in bringing forward a confident and determined attitude that helps finding the courage to think out-of-the box and help an entrepreneurial vision come to life, therefore representing the key values of the EDHEC spirit.

Senya designs and manufactures small electronic household appliances, which they also import and sell. The company aims to introduce comfort and pleasure into the daily life of the consumer, thanks to a large range of affordable products that are cleverly designed. Their strongest assets are reliability, competitiveness and creativity which they obtain thanks to a set of reliable and qualified partners.

Thanks to their headquarters in France the company is able to follow trends up close and design products that answer directly to the consumer's needs. On the other hand, the company is also based in China, which allows a close follow up of every step of the buying process and guarantees the high quality and the competitiveness of their products. Senya also offers a customized outsourcing service in which they manage both the production and the logistics all the way to the delivery.
In 2014 had Seny made a revenue of 2 million euros.

Christian Raisson and Philippe de Chanville, EDHEC Master 1994 and 2003, founders of monEchelle.fr

monEchelle.fr is a website that offers the largest online set of products in DIY, the equivalent of 10 DIY superstores, minus the lamps and caddies. This vast product line, combined with very low prices is possible thanks to their “marketplace” system.
As an intermediary, mon Echelle.fr takes care of deliveries and transfers the value of the buyer's purchase, only when he has received the order and is completely satisfied.

The website was launched in 2013. In 2014 the company managed to raise 2 million EUR of funds from CM-CIC. This investment allowed the company to enlarge its line and to develop new features. Above all it allowed the company to recruit a considerable community of DIY experts, who provide immediate answers to online users.
This year's main goal is to develop the website's position internationally and establish the company as a leader in the European market.
In 2015, for the second full year of their activity, the expected volume of sales will reach 40 million EUR, spread over 6 different countries. The company has had a notable progression, reaching 1 million sales between 2013-2014 and 14 million sales in 2014.

MonEchelle.com has been selected in Google's top 10 of French start-up companies with the strongest international potential (Scale Up program). In 2015, the company was also rewarded with BPI's “Pass French Tech”, having been labeled a hyper-growth company. 

In 2014-2015 Christian and Philippe have recruited 4 EDHEC graduates, as they are glad to share their pure player internet experience with EDHEC students through a series of interventions in the school campus. Both Christian and Philippe have started their careers in finance and investment, between Paris and London and, as passionate entrepreneurs, they are always glad to share their experience and vision of these two complementary worlds, encouraging the students to find out for themselves if they have the entrepreneurial spirit… the DIY spirit.

Mikaël Aubertin, EDHEC Master 2002, founder and CEO of Good Goût

Once upon a time there was a mommy and a daddy.

Both were refined and concerned about their children's diet and came up with the idea of changing the world of baby-food: a clever idea that very often was missing out on taste and flavor.
They armed themselves with courage and creativity as well as with a team of passionate foodies to help bringing back flavor into children's plates and tackle the baby-food market, which was hold by the two giants of the food industry: Nestlé (n°1 in the world) and Danone (n°1 in France)!

Good Goût's mission was to help parents to provide better food to their children, offering dishes that are closer to home cooking and that are organic certified as well as stored in innovative packages. These recipes are created by Michel Reutenauer, star chef and owner of Carré des Sens in Villeneuve d'Ascq and they all honor one specific ingredient each, to educate the children's taste buds from a very young age. The menu includes recipes such as a Jerusalem artichoke parmentier, a celery and salmon polenta, a lamb and squash sauté, a courgette and chevre risotto or even a yam and porc sauté…

Launched in France in 2010 with a menu of 8 dishes, Good Goût has now reached an offer of 38 delicious sweet and savory recipes. Their product line is now available in more than 5,000 point-of-sales: in superstores (Carrefour, Auchan, Géant-Casino, Cora, Intermarché, Monoprix…), organic stores (Biocoop, Naturalia, Bio C'Bon…) and on the internet (AuchanDrive, Chronodrive, Amazon…). These dishes are already distributed internationally, in approximately 12 countries (EU, Middle East, Asia).
The founder of Good Goût, Mikaël Aubertin is a LMI and Réseau Entreprendre Nord laureate and has announced great ambitions for his company. In 2014 the company reached a revenue of 3.5 million EUR and for 2015, it has a set its mark between 5 and 6 million EUR. Today the company employs 13 people and should grow its team to 20 people in the next 12 months.
Good Goût has won several awards, including BFM académie in 2012, which financed the company's striking and creative TV add campaign.
