François Gabart is one of the most celebrated ocean racers of his generation.
🏆 Winner of the Vendée Globe 2012/2013, the Route du Rhum 2014, and the Transat Jacques Vabre 2015,
⏱️ He also set the solo round-the-world sailing record in 2017, completing the journey in just 42 days, 16 hours and 40 minutes.
Today, as an entrepreneur and passionate advocate for the ocean, he shares his unique vision of resilience, innovation, and commitment at sea and on land.

About Waves of Change
Co-founded by EDHEC Alumni Minh Trinh and Nicolas Occhiminuti, Waves of Change is a non-profit established in France with a global outreach and mission to Make Coastal Cities and Territories Future Proof using its Collaborative Sustainability distinctive approach. Since 2020 it has been hosting an international forum in Biarritz, France and been involved in several global sustainability events and initiatives. In 2025, it is launching its Coastal Cities Impact Facility to ignite, fund and grow a selection of sustainable coastal projects.
