The French news magazine Le Point has just published its list of French Business School Laureates for 2011, placing EDHEC in 1st position in Finance for the excellence of its research and teaching, as well as the quality of the careers of its alumni in the finance industry.
These results are the product of EDHEC's international, world-class teaching faculty who belongs to its research centres and in particularly, to EDHEC Risk Institute. The recent recruitment of Professors Raman Uppal (London Business School), Ekkehart Boehmer (University of Oregon, Lundquist College of Business) and Giuseppe Bertola (European University Institute and Princeton University) gives EDHEC the occasion to strengthen its research capacities even further.
The School's internationally recognised expertise is of full benefit to our students, especially to those following the Financial Economics Track of the EDHEC Master in Management programme on the Nice Campus and to those enrolled on the MSc in Risk and Investment Management or on the PhD in Finance. (Both of these two latter programmes are now offered on EDHEC's London and Singapore Campuses.)
Le Point also distinguishes the best French schools in the key areas of management education - finance, marketing and entrepreneurship. EDHEC's pedagogical innovation and its investment in research, specifically targeted at the preoccupations of the business world, also receive acclaim since, after 1st place in Finance, EDHEC takes the 4th place in Marketing, while the ESPEME Bachelor in Management programme comes 4th in the entrepreneurship category.
