“I’m currently President of the BDE (Bureau des Elèves) for the EDHEC Master’s programme, where I’m in charge of student life and flagship events (integration seminar, monthly evening get-togethers, galas, etc.). I will be graduating this year from the MSc in Strategy, Organization & Consulting.
I’m also a sentinel student, which is an EDHEC scheme put in place this year.
My role is to be an identifiable contact person for students who are victims of or witness sexist or sexual violence (SSV). They can confide in me so I can steer them towards the appropriate person or body if they so wish. I decided to get involved because I simply can’t accept that this kind of behaviour continues to exist in student life, but also because as President of the BDE, I would like to show that our organisation takes the fight against SSV very seriously. I had the opportunity to undergo training on how to gather testimony, and I also ran SSV awareness-raising workshops at the start of the year for first years.
Lastly, I’m a statutory member of EDHEC Alumni on the EDHEC Alumni Board of Trustees, as well as an EDHEC Resource, and so I contribute to the constant improvements of this extraordinary tool that enables us all to stay connected and help each other out.
Generally speaking, I want to continue to play an active role in the life of EDHEC by serving as a link to our network and allowing graduates and students to benefit from my knowledge and experience.”
