Cédric Manara, law Professor at EDHEC, defended his law thesis on domain names on Tuesday, June 21 in Versailles. After having set up a blog in 2004 and having written numerous publications on this theme, he wanted to carry out a broad legal study in 2005. This has been accomplished, and Cedric Manara is now a Doctor of Law.
“If Internet is a space, then domain names make up a continent there, which legal experts have colonized by seeking to shape it despite itself, first with imagery of copyright,” writes Cedric Manara.
