The Club was created 8 years ago and has moved up the Paris Ile-de-France Saturday afternoon Football League championships table for the 3rd year running, at the Division d’Honneur (DH) level, finishing 5th in its category this season.
To update and improve its communication tools designed for the players, and to give the club better visibility for the sponsors, the EFC committee decided to launch a new website at the beginning of 2011: http://edhecfootballclub.footeo.com/

The EDHEC Trophy
The EDHEC Trophy took place during the EDHEC gala for the ninth consecutive year. This year, it was held on Saturday 19 March, 2011, when the participants were able to visit the Suzanne Lenglen sports complex facilities near Ballard.
This year’s free tournament, open to all EDEHC alumni, was organised by key Club members, Sébastien Regis, Florent Antelme and Jean-Romain Sintes, who were helped out by several other members, especially for the match refereeing, as well as by a person ‘lent out’ to the EFC by the town hall who was incredibly helpful with all the logistics.
The 7-aside tournament was another success this year as the Trophy once again attracted over 100 players split into 11 teams, many of whom put on fancy dress to play (the Michel, the Lady Gago FC, France 98, etc.), adding much to the spectators’ and players' general amusement and fun.
This year’s tournament was more traditional, with just breakfast offered by the EFC (last year, the players were able to have lunch together) as the EFC had another match to play just after the tournament.
Congratulations to the ‘Génération 86’ team, led by the new EFC star, Antoine Meunier, who played brilliantly in his maiden match to win the tournament, as well as to the ‘Les Michel’ team, led by Fred Varja, who well deserved the Trophée de l'ambiance prize they went home with.
We’d also like to mention the fantastic effort made by the Footeuses d’Ambiance, who really showed their worth during the tough match that brought the tournament to an end.
Next season, the committee will organise a replay of this great Edhec football event.
E-Day
The celebrations for the opening of the EDHEC Croix campus were held on 9 October 2010, and included a number of special events. Nicknamed E-Day, the weekend gave Edhec alumni a great opportunity to discover the new school premises and to meet up with hundreds of other alumni and EDHEC people over the course of the festivities.
Edhec F.C. organised a friendly game against Ch’ti students in Lille to mark the occasion. Tired after all the previous day’s travelling, the EFC players lost by 3 goals to 2 against the young Lille players after a really crazy match. Hats off to Thibault Rameaux by the way, former Club member and a key player, who we all hope will come back to support us next year.
Jacques Lecuyer, Class of 1963, came specially to referee the match. His experience was invaluable in keeping the match running smoothly and in gently keeping the players in both teams in check. We are extremely grateful for his availability and especially for the photo he sent us.
To end the weekend in style, the EFC players enjoyed a cocktail followed by the evening’s entertainment organised by the Lille BDE on Saturday evening, after firstly dining on the campus during the gala meal organised by Edhec Alumni, where the Class of 1963 made a stupendous and much appreciated effort to come and help us out.
Edhec F.C. would also like to take this opportunity to like to thank Edhec Alumni for organising this highly successful day.
