EDHEC, founding member of the Women on Board initiative along with the European Commission, rallying for the creation of the Board-Ready Women Database

Viviane Reding, vice-president of the European Commission and commissioner responsible for justice, fundamental rights, and citizenship, issues an appeal to all to shatter the glass ceiling.

EDHEC is a founding member of the Women on Board Initiative launched by the European Commission, an initiation whose aim is to work toward greater gender parity on corporate boards. This initiative attests to EDHEC Business School’s commitment to promoting the role of women in corporate governance.

“Women on the board pledge for Europe” appears on Vice-President Reding’s official website. She will take part in following up on actions taken by companies to increase the number of women in governance roles.
