Context

Since Brexit, trading between the UK and the EU has become significantly more complex, especially for non-European companies like those from India. Indian firms exporting via the UK may now face double VAT and customs duties when accessing the EU market. The Hauts-de-France region, due to its proximity to the UK, offers a strategic gateway for Indian businesses. Additionally, the region is undergoing major transformations in the energy sector, driven by the Net Zero 2050 objective. This includes new technologies like hydrogen, renewables, and a world-class battery ecosystem supporting green mobility.
