To mark International Women’s Day, the EDHEC Alumni 's UK Women Circle is opening  its doors to all women for a exclusive webinar on the topic of : “What is stopping us from Playing Big?”

Two special guests, Anne Geisert and Sabine Azancot-Bergel, will join the conversation moderated by Marileen Koppenberg. Anne and Sabine will bring their own perspectives and will make this an inspiring and dynamic conversation.

FORMAT

The webinar will start at 7pm UK time and last 1h15 minutes. Please know that it will not be recorded.

The agenda is as follows:

  • 7pm: Welcome 
  • 7.05pm-7.45pm: Questions & Answers with our guest speakers on the above topic 
  • 7.45pm-8.15pm: Small group breakouts to engage further in a more intimate setting


MODERATOR

Marileen Koppenberg (EDHEC Master 1997)

Marileen graduated from EDHEC Grande Ecole in Lille in 1997 and moved to London to start her career in finance. She comes with over 15 years' experience in banking with JPMorgan in London, having worked in both Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets and Asset Management, Fixed Income. 

More recently, Marileen retrained as a coach and launched her own business centred around Life and Career development coaching. She is the official coach for the EDHEC Alumni in the UK and is a very committed member of the EDHEC Alumni UK board.

 SPEAKERS

Anne Geisert (EDHEC Master 1991)

Managing Director France, MIELE; President, EDHEC Alumni association

Since graduating with a Master’s degree from EDHEC in 1991, Anne has spent her entire career in the Consumer Goods sector. She started out at Unilever as Product marketing manager Europe for the Cajoline brand (1991-1993) before working for Lindt & Sprüngli (1993-1998) and later Chanel (1998-2001).

In 2001, Anne joined the American firm Mars, where she worked in several different divisions of Chocolate France.  Building on this success, Anne was made Director of marketing and corporate affairs of Chocolate France (2007-2012) before taking over as head of the entire chocolate category (2012-2013). She joined Wrigley Europe (a Mars subsidiary) in 2013. In 2015 she became Managing Director of Wrigley for France and Belgium.

In 2018 she left the top management team at Mars to become Managing Director France at Miele, the world’s leading high-end home appliance brand.

Having spent most of her career in family firms, Anne’s core values include knowledge transfer, commitment and respect in the long term.

 Sabine Azancot Bergel

Sabine is an experienced leader and has driven growth through operational and advisory roles focused on AI, Digital and Behavioural Science. She has built data science teams from the ground up and led AI/emerging tech initiatives for large corporates (Vodafone, Woolworth Australia), scale-ups and in consulting (Bain, IBM) both in the B2C and B2B space. She recently finished an MSc in Behavioural Science at LSE with a focus on AI.
