EDHEC Business School ranks 8th in the ChangeNOW – Les Échos league table of business schools most committed to ecological and social transition. By moving up five places this year, EDHEC Business School achieves the strongest progression in the entire ChangeNOW ranking. The School places the development of societal and environmental competencies at the heart of its teaching approach, aiming to prepare leaders capable of addressing today’s global challenges.
The ChangeNOW ranking identifies and showcases the business schools most actively engaged in ecological and social transition. It is based on tangible actions: programmes, diversity and inclusion initiatives, student association involvement, and more. Together, these actions enable students to acquire essential knowledge and professional skills. By climbing five places in the ChangeNOW ranking, EDHEC Business School demonstrates the growing impact of its ecological and social transition (TES) commitments.
EDHEC Business School stands out for its integration of environmental and social issues within its programmes (percentage of courses, research chairs, specialised master’s degrees, etc.). The School offers three Masters of Science dedicated specifically to TES challenges. The MSc Creative Business & Social Innovation trains managers for the creative economy, culture, artistic industries, and social innovation—combining business, arts, culture, philanthropy, and societal impact. The MSc Global & Sustainable Business aims to prepare leaders capable of reconciling economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility within international companies. The MSc Climate Change & Sustainable Finance, developed in partnership with Mines Paris–PSL, combines advanced finance with an understanding of climate issues, training professionals able to invest, finance, or advise within a low-carbon economy. The ChangeNOW ranking also recognises the RED (Responsible by Design) method, created by EDHEC’s Centre for Responsible Entrepreneurship. This methodology supports entrepreneurs coached by EDHEC Entrepreneurs in integrating economic, social, and environmental performance considerations from the earliest stages of their projects. Launched in 2025 as part of the “Générations 2050” strategic plan, EDHEC’s Centre for Net Positive Business also embodies the School’s commitment to genuinely sustainable and regenerative business models. Its mission is to help businesses and organisations—regardless of size—move beyond merely reducing their negative impacts and instead create a net positive impact on individuals, communities, and the planet. It reflects EDHEC’s ambition to surpass traditional CSR and promote a truly regenerative entrepreneurial model, combining long-term environmental, social, and economic impact.
EDHEC Business School also stands out thanks to strong student involvement in projects and associations linked to environmental or societal issues.
