JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES There are several positions of Financial Markets Executive within the Data & Application Desk of the Geneva Customer Support Department. The main priority of the Data & Application Desk is to provide a high quality level of first line telephone and e-mail support on all queries raised by our clients or directly using Reuters applications.
Key requirements of role include:
To be able to offer high level and comprehensive advice and help to Reuters clients on the phone and by e-mail for the Reuters core applications. To manage resolution process for internal and external customers relating to functionality and technical problems for the Reuters core applications. To take ownership of incoming queries and follow up on them until they have been resolved To keep the customer informed about the status of the query on a proactive and regular basis. To be accountable for decisions and information provided to clients To liaise with other departments when necessary to get answers and track progress on outstanding queries. To log all calls received on Siebel CRM accurately, efficiently and completely PERSON SPECIFICATION - REQUIRED SKILLS The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience: Preferably graduate level education with economic degree First professional experience (1-3 years) in either the Financial Markets or in a Customer Service role Strong Financial/Market knowledge or a good mathematical background to acquire this easily Customer service experience with a logical approach to problem solving Excellent service skills including active listening, understanding other's issues and being focussed on customer needs Ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven team player Keeps others informed of changes that impact them Self motivation and a high level of initiative Good time management skills to plan and prioritises workload and demands Demonstrates urgency, drive, energy and enthusiasm Adapts quickly to a changing environment One of the following European languages as mother tongue(German, Swiss-German, French, Dutch or Greek). A combination of two languages would be an asset. Good working knowledge of English Excellent PC skills including use of NT and a good knowledge of Excel and Word Starting Date : June 1st, 2005
