Philippe Léopold-Metzger, EDHEC 1977 and gold circle donor, has been appointed President of the EDHEC Foundation
Philippe Léopold-Metzger, CEO of Piaget for almost 20 years, has been appointed Chairman of the EDHEC Foundation, replacing Stéphane Lagut (EDHEC 1990), who has held this position since 2018.
A graduate of EDHEC, Philippe Léopold-Metzger began his career in the United States. He very quickly joined the world of luxury goods where he held various positions for Cartier, notably as President of Cartier Canada, Cartier Great Britain and all the Asian subsidiaries of the Richemont Group. In 1992 he joined Piaget where he was subsequently appointed CEO and member of the Richemont Executive Committee.
He now sits on the boards of various companies and associations, notably in the field of education.
His commitment
Philippe Léopold-Metzger has been supporting the EDHEC Foundation and its projects for many years. He has been a member of the golden circle of major donors for 10 years. He wished to send this message to the community.
"I have been involved in education for several years and I am very happy to be able to invest in EDHEC and to participate in the implementation of its new projects with a strong societal impact. Supporting students and encouraging entrepreneurship are missions that are particularly close to my heart", explains Philippe Léopold-Metzger.
