Official inauguration of the Singapore Campus and presentation of EDHEC-Risk Institute Asia
On Friday 21 January, the inauguration ceremony of the Singapore campus signalled the official launch of EDHEC Business School in Asia. Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School, Bernard Fournier, Chairman of the Board, and Richard Simonin, Chairman of EDHEC International Advisory Board, were all present, underlining the new campus’ international, strategic and economic importance for EDHEC, and the crucial role of research via the new EDHEC-Risk Institute Asia programmes.
The event marked the beginning of a new challenge for the school, and a major step forward in its international development. In addition to the research activities conducted by EDHEC-Risk Institute-Asia, the Campus will also deliver postgraduate and Executive Education programmes: a PhD in Finance, training seminars for the local finance industry, and the part-time Executive MSc in Risk and Investment Management.
At the end of the day, 35 alumni took part in an alumni-only presentation led by our Singapore Ambassador, Antoine Carel.
