Nominee for the Socially Responsible Organization of the Year : Bergams with Benoît PERIER and Hugues de TAILLY
When they founded Bergams, Benoît PERIER (45 years old, married, with 4 children) and Hugues de TAILLY (49 years old, married, 4 children) wanted to set up a business that was essentially a lifestyle project.
They wanted to start a business that would let them live out the core values that drive them.
They wanted to start a business where they could give as much at home, at work and in their association commitments.
They started Bergams in 1997 and now it’s a benchmark in the premium snacks retail market.
The company’s development is based on 4 key values: confidence, talent, sharing and entrepreneurship designed to serve people.
It’s been the aim of the business venture that’s been our passion for the last 15 years.
It gave rise to IMENSE (Imagine, Entrepreneurship, Serve), that we consider more as a base than a holding.
A base and a framework for values that underpin the other adventures we’ve launched since we started out: Prêt à Recevoir (online caterers), Sylogis (nuggets importer) and Takengo (plug & play fast food concept).
...In the meantime, there are loads of other ideas buzzing around inside our heads...
