MERCI MAMAN receives the Queen's Award for Enterprise for the second time
MERCI MAMAN, a company founded by Béatrice de Montille (EDHEC Master 1999) and her husband Arnaud de Montille, has won the Queen's Award for Entreprise for the second time, in the "International Trade" category. Merci was first distinguished by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in 2017. This prize is the highest recognition for a British company. The second Queen's Award MERCI MAMAN has received celebrates its consistent growth since 2007.
The initial idea of MERCI MAMAN - jewellery engraved by hand that celebrates the special bond between a mother and her child - came out in 2007 when Béatrice created her first charm bracelet. Then the small team moved into its first office in Fulham, London. In 2014 the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, received a MERCI MAMAN necklace as a present from her sister Pippa after the birth of Prince George. This necklace soon became a best-seller and a strong symbol of the brand. About 10 years after the beginning, MERCI MAMAN is now a reference brand in personalized gifts and gathers 43 employees in London, Paris and Berlin.
