MBA GATHERING – 12 AVRIL IN LONDON AND SINGAPORE

THE MBA gathering took place on Tuesday 12th of April at EDHEC London Campus. The evening started at 6:00 pm with a welcome speech by Sandra Richez.

Vincent CHENEY introduced the Alumni association and its services. Yoann TURPIN ambassador of London Club presented its activities and then Sumitra SBALAKRISHNAN gave a very warm speech about engaging as a MBA Alumni.

Richard STEWARD, Founder and MD of Mindbench an award-winning recruitment firm which specializes in Consulting talked about the current state of the management consultancy market in the UK and beyond.

Benoit ARNAUD (Associate Dean EDHEC Executive Education) closed the keynote with a speech about the value of networking in your career.

The networking cocktail prepared by the french company Le Pain Quotidien gathered 70 MBA students and alumni among them a lot of former students of Sandra Richez. The event was a full success and allows each other’s to take contact or reconnect with one another.

THE MBA gathering in Singapore was a truly memorable affair this year.  

Hosting the MBA gathering in the iconic Raffles Hotel made it particularly special. 

The room was an elegant backdrop to the insightful talks by Pierre D’HUY and Bruno DE PAMPELONNE.

The event started at 7:00pm with a networking session and ended at 10:30pm.

At 7:30 pm started the presentation by the 3 guest of honours followed by a cocktail and networking session.

The event was quite a success as the Alumni participants with 80 participants:  MBA students, PhD alumni and EDHEC Alumni plus 3 corporate participants ( M2M Management, Agency Corp), one of them ( Michel Beaugier) did a presentation to the MBA on Monday afternoon on the Singapore campus. The event was a good mix of junior and senior.

The catering was exquisite and the atmosphere was welcoming and convivial among the alumni.

The MBA students were delighted to meet so many Grande Ecole alumni and PhDs.

Quite a number of alumni commented to Michelle SISTO that they were happy to have learnt more about EDHECs developments in the MBA, PhD and BBA.  

Many of them lingered until well after 10:00pm enjoying the site and the company.
