Role: Marketing Assistant based in Worcester. Application Deadline: 08/07/2005 Details This position strengthens the marketing team and the role will cover both NUK, one of the fastest growing baby brands in the UK and private label products. Although an assistant role, the position will involve elements of both brand and product management, new product development and analysis. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the right candidate will gain excellent exposure to all elements of the marketing mix. Educated to degree standard and preferably with some business experience (ideally gained in an FMCG environment), you will have an interest in marketing and a desire to progress. Candidates will: - thrive under pressure, be able to prioritise workloads, drive results - be able to take responsibility to see each project through to completion - have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - have good organisational skills - be team players and be able to work well with colleagues within and outside the department show attention to detail - be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), e-mail and other IT software. - be self-motivated and pro-active - possess strong analytical and reporting skills. (Experience of AC Nielsen's NITRO software would be ideal.) - Ideally have a working knowledge of French and/or German Key responsibilities in this role will be: - assisting in the implementation of brand and sub-category strategy, promotions, packaging and trade promotional plan - producing monthly and ad-hoc market reports for both UK and international teams - day to day management of the private label business.
