Inauguration of the Thomson Reuters Trading Desk on the Nice Campus

As part of developing the Financial Economics and Masters of Science departments on the Nice campus, EDHEC inaugurated, on January 14, 2010, its newest Thomson Reuters-equipped trading desk, making it possible for students to have direct access to the same tools and flow data as the market players.  Students enrolled in Finance MSc’s will also be able to try for the Thomson Reuters Certification, which demonstrates to the professional world their mastery of the XTRA 3000 application. 
The inauguration of this new facility was held in the presence of Professor Abraham Lioui, who moderated a conference titled:  "The Impact of the Short Selling Ban on Financial Stocks Volatility.”
