G20 YES: Jean de Broissia (EDHEC grande école 1997), founder and CEO of Praxedo, will represent France in Moscow.
After Charlotte Findeling (EDHEC 2003) of DEUZ and Emmanuel Cotsoyannis (EDHEC 2003) of Antilopes, who represented France in Mexico, and Guillaume Richard (EDHEC grande école 1996) in Nice in 2010, the ‘EDHEC entrepreneurs at the G20 YES’ saga continues.
The G20 Yes (Young Entrepreneur Summit), the annual international summit of the most emblematic entrepreneurs from the G20 countries, will take place in Moscow from 15 to 17 June.
‘My partner Pierre Lavigne (École Centrale Paris) and I created Praxedo more than eight years ago. At the time, we were working for a specialist in mobile technologies, and our vision then was to provide software as a service (SaaS) for companies with personnel in the field (technicians, delivery personnel, inspectors, and so on). We kept a close eye on the development of the first SaaS/Cloud offerings—Salesforce.com, for example—and decided to develop our software along the same lines.
‘Praxedo now has nineteen employees, 150 clients, and is active in France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. We are going to continue growing internationally in keeping with the SaaS distribution model (our servers are located in France, and other than a sales force there’s no infrastructure to put in place elsewhere).
‘We have always self-financed Praxedo’s growth by financing our investments through an economic model relying on monthly subscriptions from equipped users.’
