FOREIGN STUDENTS : Become a sponsor helping them to know more about french culture

EDHEC’s academic programme is not only international but is also totally taught in English. The School recruits an increasing number of foreign students every year and we work hard to help them to fit in and feel at home.

Edhec Alumni has now introduced an international student sponsoring scheme, involving alumni. The initiative is quite unique and we hope that more and more people will get involved every year. Last year, with their renowned generosity, many Edhec graduates have already answered our call for volunteers. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have joined the scheme, illustrating the strength of our network to the future generations of Edhec alumni!

If you decide to become a sponsor, what would you agree on ?

- to come and meet your "protégé" at Lille or Paris on 4th of october and at Nice on 17th of october night 

- to send your protégé an invitation at least once during the academic year (dinner, an outing, company visit, etc.)
-    to develop real exchange by helping your “protégé(e)” to learn more about French culture, French business, the local area, etc.
-    to ask for news monthly (contact e-mail, phone, Skype or meeting if possible…)
-     to fill in a questionnaire about the programme
As a sponsee, the student agree on :
• to answer to your invitations
• to develop a real exchange with you to enable you to learn about his culture
• to get in touch with you by phone or by e-mail as quickly as possible if he cannot keep an appointment for any reason
• to respect his or her personal and professional availability when contacting him or her by phone or by e-mail
• not to pass on confidential information about your life, activity or business
• not to expect too much from you
• to remember to thank you following his or her help, advice or invitation
• to fill in the questionnaire about the programme
