Candidate for the EDHEC Start-up Founder of the Year award
Florent graduated from EDHEC in 2013 and set up Brigad in 2016. Before that, he launched Printic, a mobile app for printing photos which was sold to the M6 group in 2014.
Brigad is a platform that brings businesses from the hotel, restaurant and retail sectors into contact with freelancers for jobs lasting anywhere from a few hours to several days. The technology used ensures that Brigad takes care of everything: finding the right person, insurance, remuneration and the employment contract.
The service, which was rolled out in January 2017, currently boasts more than 1,200 clients and 2,500 “Brigaders” working together on a daily basis. More than 500,000 hrs of services have been provided since the launch of Brigad and the firm forecasts revenue of €10 M in 2018. It currently has a team of around 50.
For the moment, Brigad has a presence in Paris, the surrounding region and in Lyon, and has just opened in London. Many new cities are expected to be added in coming months.
