Ernst & Young has 114,000 people in 700 locations across 140 countries around the world that are working to help companies realise the potential in their business.

Can I apply for a position on the summer scheme if I require a work permit

We are unable to accept work permit applications for our 6 week summer scheme. International students with a valid student visa (allowing part time work) are permitted to apply.

Is there a deadline for graduate applications?

Our offices do not have a formal deadline and recruit throughout the year. However, as competition is strong and some of our programmes have limited numbers, early application is encouraged

When does the graduate programmes start? The majority of our programmes start in September. The Business Advisor Programme has two start dates each year in March and September. Audit has two start dates in April and September. For further information please contact the recruitment team at  Gradrec

At each stage of the process, how long will I have to wait for a decision? At each stage of the recruitment process we will respond to you with a decision within 72 hours.

Do I need a business, finance or accountancy degree to apply for graduate positions at Ernst & Young? Applications are welcomed from all degree backgrounds. A relevant degree may provide you with a head-start during your exam training or ensure that you can provide expert knowledge in your particular area of specialisation. For that reason it will be looked upon favourably during the screening process. Please note we do require an Economics based degree for our Economist positions, and a Quantity Surveying or similar degree for our Capital Allowances positions.
