At the 3rd Suez Environment Initiatives Awards, Green Bio Energy was presented with the Social Entrepreneurship Prize which rewards initiatives developed by social entrepreneurs to promote economic activity in developing countries.

Alexandre Laure (EDHEC 2009) and Vincent Kienzler are the co-founders of Green Bio Energy, a firm that specialises in recycling waste. The €50,000 Suez Environment Initiatives award was given in recognition of its scheme to market carbonized briquettes in Uganda. This new form of entrepreneurship combines strong social responsibility with a good business development model.

Congratulations to Alexandre Laure and Green Bio Energy !
