During a 2h event in an art gallery, ArtyDate clients will enjoy an exhibition with a commentary by the gallery owners, share a champagne cocktail and meet 5 to 10 potential partners in front of the exhibited works of art and in speed-dating style for 5 minutes.
• The Market: the market is made up of single urban dwellers interested in culture. We will first focus on the Paris area and we then aim to move into the large cities outside the capital.
• Size of team: Géraldine PAPIN (GE 1997) and one non Edhec person
• Capital raised or to be raised: The amount of capital to be raised will be set out in the upcoming Business Plan
• Originality of the venture: Art provides a meeting pretext and context for natural conversations to evolve, unlike the impersonal, traditional speed dating context. ArtyDate evenings also give gallery owners an opportunity to communicate and to position themselves as innovative enterprises with their public and the press.
• Growth prospects: Turnover tripled between Year 1 and Year 2, and doubled between Year 2 and Year 3.
III/ What do you expect from the Edhec network?
I hope to extend the reach of my ArtyDate product by creating a buzz and at the same time expand my client base.
