Substantiating its decision to concentrate on the Indian Region, EDHEC organized its first Corporate Rendez-vous event on the 4th March 2016 at French Embassy, Delhi. The audience for this event included a blend of EDHEC Alumni, Senior HR Managers & EDHEC Partners in India, IFCCI & Institut Francais.

The 3-hour event was held at the French Embassy Auditorium & Open Lawn. Compered by Payal Kanwar - Regional Director IFCCI, the event consisted of 2 Keynote Speakers & 1 Testimonial from current gap-year student.

  • Puspesh Kumar, Alumnus & Associate Director – Eli Lilly & Co.
  • Victoire Paulhac, Ajointe du chef du service économique regional – French Embassy
  • Saumya Verma, Gap-Year Student & Excellence Scholarship awardee

While Puspesh spoke on ‘Trends in Pharmaceutical Industry and India’s positioning in the coming decade’; Victoire emphasized on the ‘Expanse of the French Companies in India & their need to hire professionals well-versed with Indo-French background’.

Saumya Verma, currently finishing his gap-year Internship, spoke about his journey from the ‘chilled & dusky pathos’ of Delhi to the ‘all-weather-city’ of Nice. This event also saw, Sophie Simard & Francoise Evangelisti from EDHEC Admissions Team, speak about the missions accomplished by EDHEC in India since 2013.

Post the presentation, the event moved to the Embassy Open Lawn where the attendees were served French delicacies and drinks. It was another first for EDHEC in India, where EDHEC’s India Alumni got to get back in touch with their batch-mates. It was heartening to see the HR Managers know about EDHEC through the EDHEC Alumni working in their organizations. EDHEC is proud of all its Alumni & their achievements thus far. We look forward to hosting many more sessions in India.
