The annual ranking of grandes écoles in France just published today by Challenges magazine places EDHEC fourth among these prestigious institutions.

The Challenges ranking is based on a range of criteria measuring excellence and power, and which are fundamental to the success of the EDHEC programme: third in France for international experience and first among French Grande Ecole (Master in Management) programmes for new-graduate salaries.  In budget terms, EDHEC came in second, just behind HEC.

The criteria used by Challenges in its ranking of 24 French business schools embrace international orientation (international double degree, foreign-based graduate salaries, Financial Times ranking), diversity (bursaries, work-study students, etc.) and power (accreditations, school budget, double degree, etc.). Also of note, was EDHEC’s top ranking among grandes écoles for graduates’ average starting salaries in France, of €48,000 gross.

“The Challenges ranking once again underlines the powerful markers that convince students to choose us: international orientation, diversity and power. The EDHEC Grande École (Master in Management) programme offers an extensive array of academic tracks in France and around the world, together with a wealth of career possibilities. This result testifies to the excellent all-round support we provide and we are highly proud of it”.

Underlines Michelle Sisto, Grande Ecole Director at EDHEC Business School

These results vindicate EDHEC’s strategic choices and particularly our status of public interest not-for-profit association and our focus on developing students through strong interaction with businesses throughout the duration of their studies. These features are genuine strengths in a fast-transforming world.

The Grande Ecole (Master in Management) programme provides three years of comprehensive and rigorous training, plus one year of professional immersion that enable students to combine academic excellence with a unique student experience embracing cultural, student association and professional aspects. Through its 100% English-language track, the programme allows students to acquire dual managerial and specialist competencies tailored to the requirements of international recruiters.

Challenges also published its ranking for the EDHEC International BBA programme today, rating it first in France.
