Lille, 25 January 2013. After a year full of experiences and highly intense from a teaching point of view, the 90 graduates of the EDHEC Global MBA and the EDHEC Executive MBA programmes got together for a graduation ceremony on the Lille campus.

mba_rdd_2013_saty_800_01After Benoit ARNAUD, Management – Executive Education director introduction speech, Saty Navalkar (eMBA 2006) CEO of EURINDIA OFFSHORE CONSULTING who represented EDHEC Alumni welcomed the brand new Class in the network. He declares: "I was very happy to come to the new International campus which really is a beautiful site and meet up with old and new colleagues. It was a real pleasure".

This year, Axel Dauchez, CEO of Deezer, agreed to speak at the event, and he took advantage of the opportunity to go over the wonderful story of a French start-up that set to conquer the world and in a few short months became a global giant of music streaming.

From the start, “building people to build business” has been a firm conviction of EDHEC Business School in the development of its MBA offerings: Forming managers to deal with economic globalisation, all while developing their skills in key disciplines (finance, strategy, and so on), no less than their leadership, through so-called soft reinforcement.

These programmes, then, draw heavily on innovative teaching and practical methods that make it possible for all participants to transcend their professional horizons, discover new managerial approaches, and forge strong personal convictions for strategy and decision making.

The EDHEC MBA programmes, which are resolutely international, are recognised for the diversity of their participants (32 nationalities represented in the Global MBA), as well as for the quality of their teaching faculty (more than half of the professors are international), not to mention their seminars and business trips in Europe and Asia.

“In view of the career progress of our graduates and of the success of our offerings (a 25-percent increase in the number of students enrolled in our MBA programmes every year since 2011),” says Benoit Arnaud, director of EDHEC Management, Executive Education, “EDHEC Business School is proving that, despite current economic changes, it is perfectly in step with the expectations of managers and companies.”

“Thanks to EDHEC, I was able to experience new managerial approaches with a real international dimension. The diversity of the class and the fact of being able to meet employers on three continents enabled me to develop personally and to change my outlook on the challenges to respond to in my company. Now, I’m approaching my career with renewed momentum,” says Maggy, an Australian EDHEC Global MBA graduate of the class of 2012.
