EDHEC Giving: creation of an emergency support fund within the EDHEC For All Scholarship Program thanks to 2 generous donors
Discover the testimonial of Johannes ENGELHARDT, Master EDHEC 2020, first beneficiary of the emergency support fund within the EDHEC For All Scholarship Program.
"I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computer Science at the Technical University of my hometown munich and spent an Erasmus semester in Rome. I then started the MiM programme at EDHEC in the GETT-Track and am currently in my Gap year, during which I made internships at Amazon and Google. "
The scholarship will help me in Berkeley!
The scholarship will greatly alleviate the financial stress that comes with living in one of the most expensive places on earth and will allow me to focus on academics and side projects. During my year in California, I look forward to the great academic content of Berkeley Haas, to our project with Ecole 42 and to discovering the Silicon Valley and forming connections there. On the side I want to further develop my Skillset and spend some time developping my Python skills aswell as working on personal projects. My goal is to make a career in a Tech company. This is why I chose to do internships in Tech companies such as Hometogo, Amazon and Google. I see the year in Berkeley and the specialization on Technology Management as the final stepping stone towards this goal, and the scholarship from the EDHEC Foundation will allow me to focus 100% on academics, projects and getting the most of my experience in the Bay Area.
I hereby want to express my sincerest gratitude to the donors that allow me to focus on my studies and that make all of this possible.
I hope that one day I will be able to support another student as they help me now."
