EDHEC Business School welcomed the newest participants of the Executive MBA during an immersive Integration Week at the Lille campus.

EDHEC Executive MBA welcomes new cohort

In the week of 22 September, EDHEC Business School welcomed the newest participants of the Executive MBA during an immersive Integration Week at the Lille campus.

The September intake brings together 27 professionals representing 13 nationalities. With an average age of 40 and 16 years of professional experience, they reflect a wide spectrum of industries including healthcare, big pharma, technology and innovation, consulting, FMCG, manufacturing, fintech, energy, video games, leisure, and transportation.

Their academic backgrounds are equally diverse, ranging from management and business to sciences, engineering, humanities, and medicine.

The five-day onboarding combined intellectual challenge with community building. Participants explored themes of strategy, finance, and global business.

They also engaged in sessions on resilience, communication, and personal leadership. Networking with alumni, faculty, and staff created early bonds that will sustain them throughout their Executive MBA journey.

A diverse and committed community

With 26% women and 52% working outside their home country, this intake reflects the growing diversity of the EDHEC EMBA. Together, the participants represent a community united by ambition and by the desire to strengthen their leadership skills, broaden perspectives, and make a lasting impact in their organisations and beyond.

Perspectives to Enrich the Journey

Welcoming the cohort, Véronique Carresse, Programme Director of the EDHEC EMBA, emphasised the significance of this new beginning:

“The September intake brings together professionals from across industries and cultures, each with a distinct perspective and ambition. What unites them is the commitment to transformation. Over the months ahead, they will learn, challenge, and support one another, building the kind of community that continues to define the EDHEC Executive MBA.”

EDHEC EMBA – Shaping Leaders for Lasting Impact

The EDHEC Executive MBA is designed for experienced professionals who want to accelerate their careers and broaden their perspective on global business. The programme equips participants with the knowledge, insight, and leadership capacity needed to navigate complex challenges and drive meaningful change.

For example, international learning expeditions expose them to new markets and business practices, while the consulting project provides the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges in collaboration with organisations. Electives and specialised tracks allow each participant to tailor the programme to their goals and interests.

Beyond the classroom, the EMBA experience is defined by the exchange of ideas and perspectives within a diverse cohort. Participants bring professional experience from a wide range of industries and cultures, creating a collaborative learning environment where leadership is tested, refined, and strengthened.

The EDHEC Executive MBA fosters both professional advancement and personal transformation, preparing participants to step forward with confidence and clarity in their next chapter of leadership.
