EDHEC’s part-time Executive MBA has once again been recognised as one of the best programmes in the world for enabling participants and alumni to progress in their leadership careers.

In the latest QS EMBA Rankings published this week by the QS World University Rankings team, EDHECs part-time MBA programme ranked 20th in the world for Career Outcomes, which measures the progress and success of participants in terms of both salary and advancement following completion of the 16-19 month part-time programme.

Considered as one of the most influential and comprehensive international rankings, the QS EMBA Rankings 2024 reviewed and ranked 222 programmes  across 48 locations, evaluating each Executive MBA based on criteria including career outcomes, thought leadership, class diversity and the profile of participants.

Overall, the EDHEC Executive MBA gained 5 places in both the global and European benchmark, ranking an impressive 34th worldwide and in the top 20% of all programmes and 15th in Europe. In addition to the career advancement of our alumni, the Paris & Lille-based programme also stood out for the diversity of participants in terms of gender balance and mix of nationalities, ranking 31st in the world and 18th in Europe (+12 places versus prior year) as well as the executive profile of the class. On average, participants have 14.5 years of management experience from a wide range of sectors and professions. The combined diversity of gender, nationalities, industries and expertise contributes to a rich learning experience which enables participants to gain a global perspective of strategic business and leadership best practices.

The EMBA programme features a unique initiative called Transform360, a dedicated leadership and professional development track which runs throughout the programme designed to help participants question, challenge and explore every aspect of their personal, career and leadership development. This, in combination with a curriculum that blends academic excellence with applied-learning enables senior managers and executives to achieve significant personal and professional transformation during and after the programme.

Alumna Stephanie Levy explains:

Leadership development is an essential aspect of the Executive MBA programme. The individual and career coaching sessions are insightful and encourage me to pursue professional goals beyond my previous expectations. Particularly for women, developing leadership skills increases self-confidence and the ability to rise to executive positions.”

Stephanie was promoted during the EMBA and following the programme was able to achieve her goal of rising to the c-suite. Today she is CEO of 42 Wolfsburg & 42 Berlin.

According to EDHEC EMBA alumni, Nils Claessens, the programme had a significant impact on him both personally and professionally “The Executive MBA at EDHEC is a transformational experience that not only enriches your life but also enhances your career trajectory whether you are an entrepreneur or working in a corporate environment. The programme broadened my scope and my view on business, management, leadership, and strategy in addition to personal development. My professional ambition was to advance into a general management”. Following completion of the programme,  in 2023, Nils was appointed General Manager France of KBC Bank & Verzekering.

The EDHEC Executive MBA was also ranked amongst the top 30 programme worldwide by the Financial Times in their latest benchmark and placed 1st in the world for alumni satisfaction and 5th worldwide for ESG teaching.

“We are all extremely proud of our excellent performance in terms of the career progression and satisfaction of our participants and alumni. Our aim is to offer a programme and an experience which is truly transformative for each participant,” said Programme Director, Veronique Carresse.

“The latest QS EMBA rankings show the quality and impact of our EMBA programmes, relavance and I would like to thank and recognise everyone involved in creating, managing and continually updating the programme, but most of all I would like to congratulate our alumni around the world who have seized the opportunity to drive change in their professional lives and who are tackling the toughest of challenges leaders and organisations face today.”
