EDHEC was founded by and for entrepreneurs and offers a wide range of options to train students in entrepreneurship. Master’s students can choose the pre-degree elective module “Discovering entrepreneurship”, the Start-up Challenge or the MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. On the EDHEC International BBA programme, an experience in entrepreneurship has been mandatory for several years and begins with the first-year project known as PPA.

PPA: combining your interests with useful initiatives

Beginning in their first year, students on the EDHEC International BBA programme must begin developing a charitable project: the 1st-year project, also known as PPA or the Project Workshop, with all money raised going to associations like Les Restos du Cœur, UNICEF or Make A Wish.

The PPAs are often extended long-term in the form of associations or businesses, a fantastic illustration of the commitment and motivation of EDHEC students.

PPAs in 2019–2020 addressing CSR

Despite the lockdown, all of the associations in Nice and Lille managed to adapt and work remotely, displaying discipline and admirable team dynamics.

Here are a few examples:

This year, the theme addressed by the PPA will be the 17 sustainable development goals drawn up by member states of the United Nations in the 2030 agenda and adopted by the UN.
