We invite you to discover the new Project Ignition Program with Caroline PAILLOUX (GE 2005), its founder.

Hi Caroline, What is the origin of this project?
The genesis of this project is a meeting with a contractor who complained of not being able to recruit "talent" quickly and easily in a "Start -up " context. It was a great project but could not both present the project and recruit properly during interviews. This meeting was also supplemented by my knowledge of Venture for America, the contrator for the Teaching for America branch in the United States that this issue aims to address.

What assessment of candidates coming out of schools do you get ?
Graduates of higher learning have stereotyped routes and a limited number of sectors (finance, marketing) and very marked. The objective of the Ignition Program is to provide this additional opportunity.

What are the major differences between entrepreneurship and working in a company ?
I think the project is very binary within Entrepreneurship : GO ( risk taking ) or NO GO. This risk-taking in the launch of a project contractor may be an obstacle for young graduates .

How can the Ignition Program respond to this statement ?
The idea is to spread the difficulties: first learn and create business network and THEN set up a project finance and / or associate .Ignition program is created to implement this timing.

Can you tell us more about how the Ignition Program ?
We have a goal of 30 to 40 people who will be placed in start -up next year. These are fast-growing start-ups with "mentor" leaders capable of transmitting their knowledge and passion for candidates Ignition Program.

Recruitment process Candidates: CV + test + telephone interviews possibly videos (innovative presentation materials) March/April: Screening and interviews to select the best candidates from 30 to 40. Profile of candidates: Dynamic , proactive , sense of initiative , good project management , autonomy , determination, technical skills (marketing , finance, recruitment ... ) and ability to develop new ones very quickly , leadership ability and good understanding risks and business issues.
