In 2012, the job market was affected by the European debt crises and by the uncertainties swirling around French economic policy. For this reason, recent graduates found employers taking prudent positions, especially in the second half of the year.

The hiring of EDHEC graduates unfolded smoothly for those who turned their gap-year internships into first jobs by looking for work as soon as they began their last year of studies.
