As in previous years, the Challenges magazine has once again published its list of 100 start-ups to invest in for 2020. We are delighted to see the inclusion of three companies co-founded by EDHEC graduates:

- HAROLD WASTE, cofounded by Jean-Philippe Boul (LL.M. in Law & Tax Management, 2014)
HAROLD WASTE streamlines logistics and costs for recycling companies using a series of algorithms that take many factors into account: audits of waste generated, calculating the cost of raw materials and transport, forecasting customs duties, etc. This results in time saved, improved productivity and a comprehensive overview of the purchase and sale of raw materials for these businesses.
Capital sought: 4 million euros

WEEKENDR is an online platform that brings together transport and accommodation comparison services for customised weekend getaways based on the user’s predefined criteria. It offers a compilation of destinations (from more than 180 possibilities) free of charge based on customised value-for-money criteria depending on the individual user’s desires.

- EPSOR, cofounded by Benjamin Pedrini (EDHEC Master 2009)
EPSOR offers simple online management tools for employee and retirement savings schemes (Benjamin Pedrini spoke about the service earlier in the year on TVFinance.fr) in companies. Having developed its initial experience with SMEs, EPSOR now hopes to attract medium-sized firms of up to 10,000 employees.
