cap_300Within the course of 4 months, Capgemini Consulting, the Corporate Programme Sponsor of the MSc in Strategy & Organisation Consultancy, will be working closely with EDHEC students on today’s hottest topic of ‘Transformation Management’

From December 2011 to March 2012, EDHEC students will have the chance to experience a close collaboration with a team of 15 consultants, experts on Transformation Projects through workshops, lectures and real case studies.
‘You are going to have a real life experience’ says Sebastien Morel, manager and responsible for the partnership with EDHEC, while speaking to the students on the opening day and ‘Lots of fun…  You should know we are specialising in fun’ adds Aurore Berne, senior consultant on Performance Management Transformation, setting up the context for things to come.

Divided into groups, students are assigned a case study and a consultant who will guide them through the whole transformation project. Each team is expected to present to three steering committees, meaning the students will have to present the project’s progress to the ‘client’, a committee of specialised consultants, and the best teams will present their work in front of a jury of Capgemini Consulting Directors in the company’s headquarters in Paris.

In between the different steering committees, the teams will have training sessions in order to enhance their hard skills using Capgemini’s frameworks and their soft skills on seminars dedicated to efficient written and oral communication.
The first session kicked-off on December 1st. Stephan Paolini, vice-president of Capgemini Consulting, and six managing, senior and junior consultants gave a presentation on the current trends in ‘Tranformation management’. ‘It is a market’s necessity to know how to cope with change, especially in today’s economic context’ says Stephan Paolini.

EDHEC’s partnership with Capgemini Consulting is in line with the school’s mission to deliver market relevant knowledge to its students and equip them with the skills required in today’s job market. It is a great opportunity for students to understand thoroughly their chosen industry and to network with some of the world’s best consultants.
