Finance Group Analyst Full Time Programme

A three year programme for individuals wishing to begin a career in Finance or Control. The Finance Group reports the firm's financial results to senior management, shareholders and regulatory agencies.

The group also develops processes designed to ensure that proper controls are in place so that trading results are accurate and properly reflected in the firm's books and records.

Our European Finance Analyst Programme is a three year programme for individuals wishing to begin a career in Finance or Control. During this programme, analysts participate in three rotations through a variety of disciplines within the Finance Group. Rotations may include areas of Finance, Regulatory, and Business Unit Controllers.  In these areas, analysts may prepare profit and loss reports, analyses of trading desks' performance, review new trade activity or assist in the preparation of our external financial or regulatory reports. Upon completing the programme, analysts are well prepared for opportunities available in the Finance Group.

Skills:

The programme is open to holders of a Bachelor and/or Master's degree (2:1 or above at undergraduate).  We look for confident, enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a strong academic background to work in the dynamic Finance Group.  We are also looking for the following qualities:

· Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing with and maintaining good working relationships with a wide variety of people throughout the organization

· Inquisitive and pro active approach, looking to challenge the status quo and add value to tasks undertaken

· A commitment to teamwork

· Versatility and initiative

· The ability to work accurately yet responding well to pressurised situations and tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail

· Highly numerate

Accounting or finance, maths or economics academics are beneficial.
