Each year, Forbes highlights 300 of Europe’s most talented and influential young leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers under 30. The selection process is the result of months of in-depth research, during which thousands of nominations are carefully reviewed. Every candidate’s achievements are meticulously assessed to ensure the final list reflects the individuals truly shaping the future across the continent.

In the 2025 edition, two EDHEC alumni have been recognised:

  • Alice Guedel (EDHEC Master 2019) has been honoured in the Finance category, under the theme "Guiding and democratising global money flows." Alice serves as a member of the Cabinet for EU Commissioner for Financial Services, Maria Luís Albuquerque, focusing on digital finance and artificial intelligence. Since her appointment in December 2024, she has provided strategic guidance on policy decisions and coordinated efforts with EU institutions and national governments.

Prior to her current role, Alice led the Digital Finance Platform project at the European Commission, facilitating collaboration between central banks and fintech companies. Her professional background also includes experience in venture capital at Partech, Alven, and Omnes Capital

Alice Guedel's recognition in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list underscores her significant contributions to the financial sector and her role in shaping the future of digital finance in Europe.

  • Anil Maguru (EDHEC Master 2020) has been recognised for his work in venture capital and climate tech. He co-founded Satgana, an early-stage climate tech venture capital fund, which now manages $10.4 million in assets. Satgana supports startup founders in Europe and Africa, investing pre-seed and seed capital, while providing strategic and operational support to maximise both returns and impact. Anil started as an analyst when Satgana was founded in 2020, and has since risen to become a partner.

Their achievements reflect not only their individual talent but also the growing influence of young leaders committed to innovation, sustainability, and the future of finance.
