Join the dynamic world of investment banking and apply to ABN AMRO's Technology Graduate Development Programme

ABN AMRO is one of the world's leading financial institutions. Our worldwide wholesale and retail banking operations employ 100,000 employees in 59 countries.  Our wholesale business is one of the largest in Europe, serving more than 6,500 clients and employing about 17,000 staff. By committing ourselves to a high level of service and to genuine partnership, we aim to become the preferred wholesale banking provider for global pioneers operating across geographies, rising champions in emerging markets and ambitious large and mid-size companies in developed markets. As an integral part of our 2006 Graduate Development Programme, we are currently offering entry-level opportunities for high potential graduates to join our Technology business in areas such as Relationship Management, Infrastructure Management, Vendor Management, Technology Risk Management and Strategy.  Our Programme offers you six weeks of intensive and tailored training at our exclusive Academy in Amsterdam.  It then continues with a rotational programme which will enable you to gain a detailed insight into our Technology business before you specialise.

With an outsourced technical platform, our emphasis is as much on commercial focus and the ability to respond to business needs as on technical expertise.  We are looking for highly ambitious, enthusiastic graduates with a genuine and demonstrated interest in how Technology works and how it supports the dynamic world of investment banking.  We welcome applications from all degree disciplines, however, place particular emphasis on such subjects as computer sciences, business management and economics.

Academically, you'll need a 2.1 or above, along with 300 UCAS points, or the combined (overseas) equivalents. However, qualities are just as important as qualifications.  Apart from a demonstrated interest in financial markets, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate clarity of thought and expression to allow you to make your mark in this client-led business.  You should possess a flexible and pragmatic approach to problem solving, strong consultancy and project management skills and the ability to develop lasting and credible relationships with both internal and external clients.

For more details and to submit an online application, please visit www.graduate.abnamro.com

Deadline for Applications: Monday 27th February 2006.
