On Thursday 6 October 2022, we had the chance to welcome some 160 students and graduates to the Paris campus for the Welcome Party Paris!

As in previous years, this event marks the beginning of the academic year, and above all the return of physical events on the Paris campus. Participants were able to enjoy the usual good-humoured and sociable atmosphere, chatting to the volunteers that keep the EDHEC network in Paris so dynamic – the ambassadors from EDHEC Alumni clubs in Île-de-France – and also had the chance to meet Anne Geisert, the new president of the EDHEC Alumni association.

A large number of clubs were represented: professional, leisure, theme-specific and sports clubs.

--> What are EDHEC Alumni clubs all about? The clubs are run by a team of volunteers and supported by the EDHEC Alumni Association, and their mission is to create events (conferences, after-work sessions, guided tours, sports events, etc.) focused on a particular area of interest so that you can keep up with the latest trends in a sector, strengthen links between network members and make it easier to get in touch with qualified people.

--> You can also join the clubs that interest you by becoming a member today (it’s free!). You’ll receive their latest news by email. To do this, simply log into your EDHEC Alumni profile at alumni.edhec.edu and explore the CLUBS section. Found the club you’re interested in? Click on the orange button “Join this group”.

--> If you would like to suggest topics or guest speakers for events or play a central role in the network’s activities, become an EDHEC Alumni ambassador! Begin by chatting with the ambassadors in the clubs that interest you. You will find their contact details in their dedicated club page. Adeline Regent, Alumni Relations Manager, is your contact point if you have any questions: adeline.regent@edhec.edu

--> Some clubs were created during this event: EDHEC Alumni Watch club, run by Arthur SZMATULA, which aims to bring EDHEC students and alumni together to share their passion for watchmaking. The club’s first event will take place on Tuesday 1 December 2022 at the Bucherer store in Paris.
