The EDHEC NewGen Talent Center unveils the results of its survey on the skills most useful to young graduates in their first job.

What skills have young graduates considered most useful for the success of their first job ?

The sense of achievement and the ability to learn, followed closely by relational ease, is the soft skills winning trio that young graduates have judged most important in the success of their first job.

This skill trio is identical for men and women as well as for managers and engineers. It should be noted, however, that relational skills and teamwork score slightly higher in women, while the result is more important for managers than for engineers.
