 EDHEC ALUMNI UK BOARD 2024-2026

Empowering the community towards a more inclusive, sustainable and innovative future

OUR MISSION

Did you know that the UK hosts the largest EDHEC Alumni community outside of France? Whether they've been here for over 20 years or feel like heroes for recently securing a skilled worker visa post-Brexit, whether they're working in the City or in Shoreditch, the 1,800 UK Alumni bring a wide range of talents yet remain united by the same friendly EDHEC Spirit!

To keep this spirit alive, Audrey Haverkamp (EDHEC 2012), EDHEC's Country Manager for the UK and Ireland, is supported by a dedicated Board of UK Alumni ambassadors, co-chaired by Estelle Levacher, Founder, Levelle Consulting (EDHEC 1999) and Cedric Petitpas, Founder, Green Bambinos (EDHEC 2002).

Created in 2020, the Board has already been renewed twice, with the current team serving a two-year term from September 2024 to August 2026.

By implementing EDHEC Alumni’s strategic plan locally towards a more inclusive, sustainable and innovative futurethe UK Board aims to empower the community to:

  • Share expertise and inspiring experiences
  • Care for their career and life success
  • Dare to make an impact

With more than 15 events per year on our EDHEC London Campus or in great locations in Central London, the Board works hard to keep you connected to your EDHEC network, no matter your interests. Discover below what we have in store for you!

OUR FOUR COMMITTEES

The Board is structured into four key committees to offer you a wide range of activities:

  • Community Engagement: Beyond the traditional Welcome Party in October and the emblematic EDHEC Rendez-Vous in June, Nicolas and his team organise enjoyable social events like Galette des Rois, Raclette evening, and other activities to help you connect and have fun!

  • Sustainability: Led by Estelle, this committee is passionate about raising awareness of environmental issues and making concrete changes. In 2022, they launched the “Make an Impact for Good” programme, which focuses on three main activities: events in partnership with the French Embassy in the UK, a mentoring scheme, and a bursary in collaboration with the EDHEC Foundation.

  • Careers, Diversity & Inclusion: Run by Marileen, who is also our official Alumni UK coach, this committee is dedicated to supporting your professional growth and fostering an inclusive community. They successfully launched a Women’s Circle in 2023, a career development support group, and a buddy scheme. They also organise joint events with Whats4U, a collective of 18 alumni associations from prestigious Grandes Écoles.

  • Responsible Entrepreneurship & AI: Run by Cedric, this committee supports our UK Entrepreneurs through dedicated workshops and resources, and help our community stay at the forefront of change.

WHO WE ARE

To provide all of this, we need a strong team of volunteers, and we are so grateful to the Alumni who’ve stepped up to give a bit of their precious time.

We are proud to have a diverse team with French and international backgrounds, men and women, varying industry experiences, different generations, and EDHEC programs.

Please feel free to reach out to them to learn more!

  • Careers, Diversity & Inclusion Team
    1. Marileen Koppenberg (EDHEC 1997), Career & Life Coach, MKCoaching – Committee Head

OUR COLLABORATION WITH THE EDHEC FONDATION

This Board works closely with the Board of Trustees, who supports the EDHEC Fondation in the UK. They play an active role in our main events and help ensure that EDHEC Alumni continue to support the development of EDHEC Business School.

SUPPORTING US

We are not currently taking on more people for the Board, but we are always keen to collaborate with Alumni on our various events. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to lend a hand: ukboard@alumni.edhec.edu
