A la faveur du lancement du plan stratégique 2020-2025 de l’EDHEC plaçant le droit au cœur de ses projets d’avenir avec la création de l’EDHEC Augmented Law Institute, le club EDHEC Law Alumni a maintenant, plus que jamais, un rôle à jouer dans la mise en valeur, le questionnement et l’« augmentation » de la fonction juridique et du droit.

Le monde se transforme en permanence, le droit et son industrie anticipent, s’adaptent, encadrent, recadrent, interrogent constamment ces évolutions.

EDHEC Law Alumni favorise les liens entre professionnels du droit mais également les échanges entre juristes et non juristes, car la culture juridique interagit désormais avec toutes les sphères de l’entreprise et de la société.

Croiser les perspectives
Nous souhaitons encourager les échanges entre professionnels du droit et notamment entre avocats et juristes sur leur vision et les évolutions de leurs métiers et de leurs pratiques, les problématiques et législations actuelles, mais également à venir dans une optique de gestion des risques juridiques.

Echanger entre juristes et non juristes
Direction Générale et questions de gouvernance, Direction Marketing & Commerciale et propriété intellectuelle, Direction Juridique et compliance, Direction des Ressources Humaines et droit du travail, Direction informatique et protection des données, Direction financière et fiscalité … le droit touche toutes les sphères de l’entreprise et de la société. EDHEC Law Alumni souhaite faire dialoguer juristes et non juristes.

Partager ses expériences
Que ce soit lors de rendez-vous conviviaux et informels ou dans le cadre de réunions métiers et carrières, EDHEC Law Alumni entend renforcer les liens entre les membres des professions juridiques afin que chacun puisse partager son expérience. Ces échanges sont également favorisés entre les diplômés et les étudiants pour leur permettre de réfléchir à leurs perspectives de carrières et créer des opportunités de recrutement.

Building on the launch of EDHEC’s 2020–2025 strategic plan, which placed law at the heart of its projects going forward with the creation of the EDHEC Augmented Law Institute, the EDHEC Law Alumni club now, more than ever, has a role to play in promoting, questioning and “augmenting” legal functions and the law.

The world is ceaselessly changing, and the law and the legal industry must constantly anticipate, adapt to, frame, reframe and question these changes.

EDHEC Law Alumni encourages links between legal professionals as well as exchanges between legal experts and other professionals, for the culture of the law now interacts with all spheres of business and society.

Combining perspectives
We hope to encourage exchanges between legal professionals, and in particular between lawyers and legal experts, about their vision and the changes taking place in their professions and practices, about both contemporary and future problems and legislation from the perspective of legal risk management.

Discussions between legal experts and other professionals
Top management and questions of governments, marketing & sales departments and intellectual property, legal departments and compliance, HR departments and labour law, IT departments and data protection, finance departments and tax affairs … the law now touches on all spheres of business and society, and so EDHEC Law Alumni  aims to encourage dialogue between legal experts and other professionals.

Sharing experiences
Whether during sociable and informal get-togethers or at meetings addressing specific professions and careers, EDHEC Law Alumni aims to strengthen the links between members of the legal profession so everyone can share their experience. Exchanges are also encouraged between graduates and students so they can think about their career prospects and generate recruitment opportunities.
