On July 11, 51 EDHEC Shanghai alumni were meeting up together in Guinness Gatehouse, to celebrate the first social event after the lockdown days in previous months due to Covid-19.
Global Alumni director Martin BARBIER virtually attended this event by giving a speech to China Alumni community, in this speech, Martin talked about the resilient management and efficient operation of the whole EDHEC teams under the global sanitary crisis, proudly speaking, EDHEC remote learning satisfied most of the students in the days of campus close. He also spoke highly of the actions by EDHEC China Alumni, such as the initiative of call for donation to support Wuhan after the Covid 19 breakout firstly in that city in China. Besides that, China alumni remains the solidarity in various ways, several alumni webinars on career topic were well conducted during the last months.
Sisi PAN, EDHEC China country manager presented the project of “Alumni Job Support in Covid 19”, she called upon that Alumni shall keep closer connection at job opportunities in China in the particular challenging time.
During the event, Ambassador DingYu HU facilitated the workshop session which the participants were divided into four groups, each with a discussion topic as how Covid-19 impact your industry and company, how you want to design your life by work and life balance, how to adapt your direction if want to change your career.
