The UK's largest awarding body, Edexcel, is looking to recruit specialist markers in these areas for work between May - August 2007. Specialist markers are responsible for marking candidates' work in accordance with a rigidly defined mark scheme. Applicants must be final year degree students, recent graduates or have completed a marker contract with Edexcel in a previous series. Computer literacy is essential and you must have access to a secure PC with a broadband connection enabling you to work from home. Deadline for applications is 12th May . Specialist Markers can expect to earn a minimum of £150 and up to £1000 or more per examination series, depending on the amount of marking you complete.
